Having to write a foreword to this book is a real privilege. As one of the elder sisters to the author, Engineer Abinye Nwankwo, I have seen him grow from a little lad to an enterprising and God-fearing Man. The book “CREATING YOUR SEASON OF ABUNDANCE“ is a book in due season, as it presents a tried and tested approach to managing your resources in such a way that you create abundance in and out of season. The message contained in this book is such an important message, which should be embraced and applied by everyone, particularly in these times when the world is recovering from the financial crises of a few years back.
Abinye has proved that he is a realistic and practical writer who not only knows his subject matter very well but lives that which is contained in this book. The story of his life is, and will continue to be, an inspiration to many young people today. In this amazing book, he ably takes you on a life-changing journey using facts and stories that you can easily connect to experiences that you might face in everyday life. There is also a rock-solid biblical foundation to the thoughts and tips that he shares in this book. It covers a wide variety of issues but it is down-to-earth, rational and practical. It is indeed one of those books that you can’t afford to put down once you start reading it, and after reading it, you keep it close for constant reference.
To the casual reader, this book may seem like one of those easily put together get-rich-quick books, but those who are seeking a sustainable solution to practical everyday financial problems, will be astonished by the book’s wealth of knowledge and depth of research. In this book, Abinye offers unique points of view and perhaps, because he is an engineer, he provides a very logical and compelling hypothesis that has an exciting outcome – TRUE ABUNDANCE IS ATTAINABLE BY ALL.
As an accountant of many years, after reading this book, I was truly intrigued by Abinye’s foray into “biblical accounting principles” and the interplay with thoughts from prominent writers. The principles and recommended practices contained in this book are simple but transformational. It is my prayer that the application of these principles will transform your life and help you transition from your current financial status to TRUE ABUNDANCE as God intends for you. John 10:10b says ‘… I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”.
It is time to create your season of abundance… GO FOR IT!
I am grateful to God Almighty for the inspiration and grace given to me while putting down this book. Thanks to my lovely wife, Mrs. Mercy Nwankwo for being virtuous. For she showed maturity and understanding when we had to let go present desires to plan for future financial goals. Merci Beaucoup. I appreciate my parents Late Rev. Can. I.A. Nwankwo and Dr(Mrs.) J.N. Nwankwo. They instilled in me godly virtues. To my sister, Mrs. Chinyere Almona, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, thanks for encouraging me despite your busy schedule. I bless God for my parents-in-law, Rev. Can and Mrs. C.M. Sorgwe. They are an epitome of charity. I am so encouraged by them.
A big thanks to the ministers of the Gospel, whose teachings have been a springboard in the actualization of this book. Men of God such as Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor Creflo Dollars, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, Pastor Sam Adeyemi, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, Late Rev. Kenneth Hagin and many others.
Rev. Amos Osaromkpe has truly been a source of encouragement.
